You need to run(alt+f2) "emerald --replace", and set that command on startup applications.
Importing the file from the emerald theme manager.

Man, I'm using Windows now... I can't help you now... but are you pretty sure this is not working with Emerald? Worked to me. Using Ubuntu. I don't know how other Linux distros work.

when i use emerald and select this theme emerald just closes and theme is not aplied.
